The Atlantic,
from your window.

Elizabeth Pointe Lodge

White rocking chairs face the ocean from the lodge’s porch. Upstairs, an Oceanfront King brings that same horizon into the room. A beach walk and a good dinner can be the whole day.

A room worth staying in

Oceanfront King

Ocean view from the room

Choose the Oceanfront King category for the Atlantic view, rather than relying on a property-wide beach description. Breakfast is included. The lodge welcomes guests age ten and older and is not adults-only.

A little outside your door

A beach walk. Then dinner.

Choose one, or choose none.
These are possibilities, not a schedule.

The shore outside

Take a long walk on the sand, then return to the porch. Early December may be cool or windy; this is a layers-and-ocean-air weekend, not a promise of swimming weather.

España Restaurant & Tapas

Head into Fernandina Beach for Spanish and Portuguese dishes in a smaller-scale setting. Check dinner hours and reservations before leaving.

Getting there

A short flight, a longer journey.

Fly · ATL → JAX + island transfer

The observed Delta Main Classic cash pairing is Thursday ATL 4:47–JAX 5:54 p.m., returning Sunday JAX 6:59–ATL 8:22 p.m. Allow the onward airport transfer to Amelia Island. Thursday is the travel day, leaving Friday and Saturday for the island.

Allow roughly 4–5 hours door to door, including airport time and the island transfer. This stretches the three-hour preference. The Sunday return reaches Atlanta later in the evening.
